Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil, an American actress who is well-known for her role as Margo Hanson in the Syfy television series "The Magicians" (2015 to date). The actress was previously recognized by playing an American girl aged 13 years old, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing turbulent personal struggles against set against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". Her character was chosen in 2007 as a 'Variety 10 actors to watch'. In 2009, she played Taslima as a strong female character in the drama crime film Crossing Over, which earned her nominations for an "Independent Spirit Award" under the category of 'Best Female Leading'.
